About the Material:
The Paracord Ropes are made from polypropylene material which does not absorb moisture, it keeps the rope floating on the water and dries quickly, making it excellent material for dog leads. The rope is non-toxic, safe for humans and animals (OEKO-TEX®), doesn't get dirty quickly, and is resistant to mildew and rot.
The Premium Paracord has a thicker inner core and a smooth woven outer finish, which makes them ideal for Dog Leads & Collars, it furthermore is available in many different colours and patterns.
BioThane® (used for the handle) is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s a polyester webbing with a TPU/PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and remains always odour-free. BioThane® is more durable, wipe cleanable, stronger and easier to maintain than leather, and a vegan material.
This product comes with our Antique Brass (colour coated zinc) or solid Gold Brass Hardware as standard. However, we do various other hardware colours, and can change the hardware for this design if you prefer an alternative option.
For a fully chip & rust resistant hardware, please request Gold Brass or Stainless Steel.
Standard Trigger Clasps: 76mm-80mm, Break Load around 190kg, Clasp Weight: 43g (solid metals 50g)
These leads can be washed by hand but are also machine washable at low temperature and alongside other clothing of similar colour. We recommend to put the collar into a washbag or tied up pillow case, to protect the whipping and hardware.
