What makes the Perfect-Fit Harness different from other harnesses?

Every harness is made to your dog’s unique measurements - not a generic size chart. This ensures a secure, tailored fit that prevents rubbing, slipping, or pressure on sensitive areas.

Unlike mass-produced designs, it’s crafted from genuine BioThane® for maximum comfort, strength, and waterproof durability.

Is the harness fully waterproof?

Yes. BioThane® is 100% waterproof and non-absorbent. It won’t hold moisture, odour, or bacteria, even after muddy walks or swimming. Simply wipe it clean and it’s ready for the next adventure.

Can my dog swim in it - even on the beach in salt water?

It’s perfect for lakes, rivers, and muddy puddles.

For frequent beach use, choose our Stainless Steel or Gold Brass hardware option - these fittings resist corrosion and are ideal for saltwater exposure.

Whereas, our standard zinc hardware is great for everyday walks and freshwater use.

How do I take my dog’s measurements?

We need four easy measurements:

A – Girth (2" behind the front legs)

B – Shoulder blades to top of girth

C – Neck base at the top of shoulders

D – Breastbone to bottom of girth

Is the harness adjustable?

Yes! The girth straps are adjustable so you can get the perfect fit and tweak it between grooms or when your dog’s wearing a fleece or coat underneath. The neck section is custom-made to your dog’s measurements, giving a snug, comfortable fit for all shapes and sizes.

What are the lead attachment points for?

There are three D-rings to give you full control:

The front chest ring helps discourage pulling (use with training and our handsfree double-clasp Lead)


The back ring is for everyday walking and dogs that don't pull.


The neck ring offers quick clip-on convenience or a second lead connection for extra control with a double-ended Dog Lead, such as our Handsfree Training Lead.

Is it strong enough for large breeds or pullers?

Absolutely. Our Biothane webbing is strength-tested to over 500lbs (226 kg) making it much stronger than regular nylon webbing or leather.

We also offer premium fittings such as Gold Brass and Stainless Steel, which are perfect for even the strongest breeds.

How do I clean it?

Just wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse in warm water after walks. For stubborn dirt, a touch of soap or washing up liquid will do. BioThane® dries instantly and stays flexible, even in cold weather.

Is BioThane® comfortable for my dog?

Yes - it’s soft, flexible, and smooth against the coat, helping reduce matting and hair breakage. It’s also hypoallergenic, making it ideal for dogs with sensitive skin.

Can I design my own colour combination?

Yes! Choose from our BioThane® colour chart to create a single-colour or multi-tone design that’s as unique as your dog. Simply note your colour choices in the text fields when ordering. If you would like some inspiration, head to our IG @trinketypaws or message us to see some colour swatches together.

Can I get matching accessories for my harness?

Yes - you can complete the look with a matching Trinkety Paws BioThane® Collar and Lead in the same or complementary colours.

Every piece is handcrafted in our workshop using genuine BioThane®, so your harness, collar, and lead will coordinate beautifully in both colour and finish.

You can even add matching splatter detailing or Everlast hardware upgrades for a fully customised set.

Can I personalise or add splatter to my harness?

Yes - we love creating custom designs! You can add name engraving, or our signature hand-splattered paint finish or choose a bespoke two-tone or multi-colour combination from our BioThane® colour chart. Each splatter finish is applied by hand in our workshop, making every piece completely unique.
