No. The splatter finish is made using a premium flexible acrylic paint that bonds permanently to the BioThane® surface. It’s elastic, waterproof, and crack-resistant - meaning it won’t flake, peel, or rub off, even after regular use, swimming, or outdoor adventures.

Yes – all Trinkety Paws products, including the Splatter Collection, are 100% vegan. BioThane® is a man-made material that offers the look and feel of leather without using any animal products.

Simply wipe with a damp cloth or rinse under warm water. For stubborn dirt, you can use mild soap – but avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives, as they aren’t needed and could dull the hardware finish.

Definitely. These collars and leads are fully waterproof, quick-drying, and perfectly fine in any lakes or rivers.

For seaside use, we recommend creating your own two-tone colour combination - you can use this collection as your inspiration - and then adding the Gold Brass or Stainless Steel Hardware option in our Design Your Own section. This will ensure your collar or lead is suitable for those beach day visits and sea swims, and anything else.

If you take our classic Splatter Collars to the beach, make sure you give them a quick rinse after sea swims to reduce risk of corrosion, and keep the hardware looking its best.
