Every lead features an adjustable Stop-Ring, allowing it to be used as a traditional Slip Lead or converted into a Figure-8 Lead for gentle, responsive control during training or heel work. The rope glides smoothly without friction, offering balance and control without pressure.

What are the Rope Collars and Leads made from?

Our Rope Collection combines two premium materials - soft yet strong polypropylene rope and genuine BioThane®. The rope is OEKO-TEX® certified, non-toxic, and quick-drying, while the BioThane® strap or handle adds a waterproof, wipe-clean finish and lasting durability. Together, they deliver the perfect balance of comfort, strength, and style.

Are the Rope Collars and Leads waterproof?

Yes – both materials are water-resistant and designed for all-weather use.

The rope is polypropylene, which means it dries quickly and doesn’t absorb moisture, while the BioThane® sections are completely waterproof and odour-resistant. Ideal for rainy walks, puddle play, or lakeside adventures.

Can they be used for swimming or beach walks?

They’re great for swimming in lakes or rivers, but not recommended for frequent seawater use as the standard hardware isn’t corrosion-proof.

If your dog loves the beach, we recommend ordering from our Premium Rope Biothane Dog Collar and Lead Range, which comes with Gold Brass fittings as standard, which are saltwater-safe.

How strong are the Rope Collars and Leads?

Very strong. Each piece is carefully hand sewn with rot-proof micro-cord, making our products 20× stronger than standard rope collars or leads.

They’re suitable for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds and strong pullers.

Are the ropes soft or rough to the touch?

They’re beautifully soft and flexible - the rope stays smooth and gentle on hands and coats, even after getting wet. It won’t go stiff, fray, or develop a rough texture over time.

What makes these different from your standard BioThane® range?

Our Rope & BioThane® range combines two materials for a refined, lightweight design. You still get the waterproof, wipe-clean convenience of BioThane®, but with the comfort and flexibility of premium rope - a perfect mix of strength and luxury feel.

Can your Slip Leads in this Range be used as Figure-8 Leads?

Yes. Each slip lead has an integrated Stop Ring and adjustable BioThane® stopper, allowing you to set your preferred fit.

You can also convert it easily into a Figure-8 lead for gentle control during training or for dogs that pull.

Are these collars adjustable?

Yes - our Rope Collars are fully adjustable, giving you a secure and comfortable fit for your dog. They’re available in multiple sizes to suit small through to extra-large breeds.

How do I clean the Classic Rope BioThane® products?

Simply rinse and clean with a damp cloth after walks. For stubborn dirt, mild soap and warm water work perfectly.

Our Rope Biothane products are also machine washable, at a low temperature. We recommend to putting them into a wash bag or pillow case.

Can I get a matching set?

Absolutely. Each rope collar has a coordinating lead in the same colour-way and hardware finish, so you can enjoy a complete, coordinated look that’s practical and stylish in equal measure.
