And our Classic Long Lines are made from waterproof webbing, a more cost effective alternative to Biothane.

Both are 100% waterproof, mudproof, and odour-resistant, staying light even when wet. It won’t fray, stretch, or hold dirt, and it wipes clean in seconds - ready for the next adventure.

It depends on your dog’s size and what you’ll use it for:

• 3 m – Great for man-trailing, scent work, or close-control training.
  
• 5 m–10 m – Ideal for recall work or safe off-lead style walks.
  
• 15 m–20 m – Perfect for open fields, large spaces, or confident recall training.

Each lead is designed to stay light and manageable, even at full length.

Both options are waterproof, easy to clean, and handmade in our UK workshop - but the difference lies in the material performance and finish.

Our BioThane® Long Lines are made from genuine BioThane® webbing, a patented premium coated webbing that’s stronger, smoother, and longer-lasting than other standard waterproof webbings. It also has a denser internal weave, giving it superior tensile strength, a softer, more leather-like feel, and extra resistance to fraying, stretching, or cracking over time.

Our Waterproof Webbing Long Lines are a great value alternative, offering similar everyday waterproof practicality but made from a more economical PVC-coated webbing. They’re slightly stiffer in feel and less refined in texture but still an excellent choice for Long Line Training. We offer these, to give customers a cost effective option alongside our Biothane premium lines.

Yes - our waterproof webbing is exceptionally strong, with a tested break strength of up to 150 kg. Paired with our premium hardware, it offers outstanding security and reliability for everything from small terriers to powerful shepherds.

For larger breeds or strong pullers, we recommend choosing our standard 12 mm webbing over the Hexa style, as it features a reinforced inner core for even greater strength and durability.

These fittings are designed to handle saltwater, sand, and coastal conditions without rusting or chipping.

Our Aluminum Locking Carabiner is perfect for the beach, as nothing can get inside the mechanism so it's perfect for use in sand.

Regular (12 mm) – Easy to manage, and smooth outer PVC finish for easy cleaning; glides well even on uneven surfaces, perfect for all size dogs, a great all round line. Our recommended line for larger breeds and very strong pullers or lunging dogs.

Hexa (16 mm) – Slightly wider with a honeycomb texture finish and more flexious overall feel, easy to handle, great for all size dogs.

Yes - Our No Handle Long Line includes an integrated O-ring at the end, so you can easily attach it to one of our detachable Traffic Handle, another lead, or a walking belt setup. This makes it fully compatible with our Handsfree Training Lead, for even more flexibility and control.

Simple - rinse with warm soapy water or wipe clean, and it’ll look new again. Waterproof Webbing doesn’t absorb water, mud, or odours, so it’s virtually maintenance-free. Rinse the hardware after use on the beach to keep it sparkling.
